Match Reports

Crowborough RFC

Borough Just did enough to get over the line !

And finished the season by securing all five points.......

Boro' Secure Promotion and the Championship !!!

After a slow start to the game, the Crow's came storming back in the second period to secure the London South East Three title.

Boro' are not over the line yet !

With Promotion now secured, They need just one point, from the remaining two games to secure the Championship......

Beccehamian RFC

Bromley RFC 12 v Beccehamian RFC 13

The weather on Saturday was not as good as predicted and the crowd were entertained by a close fought local derby.

Beccehamians 31 - Hastings & Bexhill 24

It was a glorious day in the sunshine at Sparrows Den on Saturday and as there was a VPs lunch there was a large crowd.

Vigo RFC 8 Beccehanian RFC 12

It was a fine day at Vigo for this top of the table clash.

Folkestone Rugby Club

“Winning isn’t everything,” but it beats anything that comes in second!

The Stones were languishing at the bottom of the table at the end of October the turn around has been remarkable, by any standards. Only three matches had been narrowly lost since then.

Folkestone lose by the width of a post after giving everything in a thrilling encounter.

The Stones, the most successful team in the league in 2019 eventually succumbed to injuries, a powerful pack and a lack of possession in the second half and it was only in the last minute that they saw victory denied – by the width of an upright.

Having travelled through the back roads and isolated villages of Kent and Sussex with Ruddock’s Rural Tours

From the start there seemed to be no urgency from the Folkestone team and it was the worst game I’ve seen them play since Christmas !
